The NEW YORK KNICKS progression is steady. From my perspective, new york residents support the team whether or not they win games. But in order to improves merchandise and ticket sales, the team as a brand must win. Since they did not make the playoffs, free agency, and the 2010 nba draft coming up, management should rebuild their team. If basketball fans in the tri-state area believe and see improvement in the team, they will support the KNICKS BRAND. Consumers will buy more merchandise and attend more home and away games.
